![]() ![]() This can save a lot of time when updating your images in the future. I have found in the long run it's better to create images using MDT, automate some things, and give yourself a pause script for the few manual things you have to do. If you create the image using MDT in the beginning it sets the system partition to 499MB so there is enough room. I have been chewing at this for ages now and dont know how to resolve it, can anyone help?Īre you trying to capture an image created by MDT or an image that you created manually yourself? If you created it manually there's apparently a workaround which is http:/ / / kb/ 2797676 I have tried various things like changing the partitions in the unattend settings and tried Microsoft suggestions of not assigning a letter to the system partition, but it doesnt have one assigned. I have enabled logging and it would appear the task is trying to use the system partition of the C drive which is only 100mb, see below =Failed to run the last action: Apply Windows PE. =Operation aborted (Error: 80004004 Source: Windows) =The execution of the group (Capture Image) has failed and the execution has been aborted. =Failed to run the action: Apply Windows PE. ![]() all is ok up to the point where the task sequence attempts to apply windows PE, it comes back with a failure message. ![]() Im having a problem trying to capture a windows 8.1 image from Hyper-V.
